Simonee Chichester is an award winning filmmaker who has written, directed and produced fiction and documentary work for cinema, television and the web. As one of Canada’s female talents, she's also a graduate from the Canadian Film Centre’s director’s lab (founded by Norman Jewison) and a trained actor who attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. Simonee is an actor’s director and an auteur filmmaker. She tells authentic, character- based stories and draws on her own diverse cultural background and personal experience to capture ordinary life unfolding in meaningful ways.
